Larnach Castle Revisited

Monday, October 26th, was a holiday in New Zealand..... Labour Day. The Archive was closed so we took advantage of the day off and took the Sister Missionaries to Larnach Castle on their "P" day. It was nice to spend some time with Sister Shaw and Sister Phillips.... and it was fun to return to the castle and add to our collection of photos.

Same gorgeous views as before with some colored blooms added.
The gazebo is our favorite area of the castle grounds. It has amazing views in every direction.
Elder Edward managed to stay awake when given the opportunity to sit down.

Sister Edward with a very proper Downton Abbey pose.

Sister Phillips (England) on left and Sister Shaw (South Ogden, Utah).

Dining room table in the beautiful dining room.

Wonderful craftsmanship on the stairway to the lower level.

The Three Amigos. Sister Shaw (left) only had about two weeks left on her mission.
Sister Edward taking a turn on the music parlor piano.

View from the rear of the castle.

This interaction with the blossoms happened more than once.

It's amazing how many complete strangers we hand our camera to.

Finally found the Cheshire Cat up a tree. This completed the Alice in Wonderland theme.
